Cupboard with refrigerator
Through this specially developed shelf-system it’s possible to play with open and closed volumes. With the also for this system developed drawer-system it’s the complete drawer that slides from underneath a shelf.
The proud owners of this cabinet wanted to place a big standing fridge in the living instead of in their relatively small kitchen. Assignment: Design an open cupboard with an integrated refrigerator for a specific spot in our new home.
The result is this composition of open and closed volumes (cupboards and drawers) and oak shelving hanging from a steel grid on the wall. 2012.
